Travel 2 has seen a staggering surge of new interest from independent agents, over the last five months alone.
Travel 2 has undergone many changes in the last year and all initiatives are aimed at supporting independent agents. From a revamped website, new trade friendly brochures, new rewards scheme, live chat on the web for instant help and a continued trade only stance, all culminating in a surge of new interest in the brand.
Gordon McCreadie Sales and Marketing Director commented: “Our field sales team are literally inundated with requests for training, consumer evenings, joint advertising campaigns and bespoke marketing activity. The demand is so high we’ve had to recruit additional staff in the marketing team to cope including a new commercial executive and graphic designer. To help support this new business we have also recruited a new account manager, Darren Cartland from Gulf Air, taking the field sales team to six to ensure we further develop these new relationships.”
Managing Director Travel 2, Andy Freeth added: “I’m thrilled to see this huge number of new agents now trading with us. Gordon and his team put a lot of time, energy and passion into building long lasting partnerships. The business generated from these new agents in addition to the growth from our existing customers gives me great confidence as we head into a peak period in January. We have a lot of activity lined up and I can’t wait to see the results pour in”.
