AWARD WINNING HOT ICE IS BACK
The world’s most spectacular ice show is back! Pleasure Beach, Blackpool is delighted to announce the return of Hot Ice after the 2010 production proved to be the most successful show to date.
The skating show features everything that is hot in ice skating with 28 of the very best performers from around the world taking to the ice in over 100 stunning costumes to a whole collection of mesmerising music, state of the art lighting system and explosive pyrotechnic fire effects.
Ice skaters travel from across the world are to take to the ice in Blackpool for what has become the world’s longest running ice show. This year’s production of ITV’s Dancing On Ice sees Blackpool’s very own and Hot Ice favourite Katie Stainsby (famed for skating alongside Vanilla Ice) return to Hot Ice Show for 2011. Other Hot Ice Show cast members include six times Australian Ice Champion, Trent Nelson Bond and Inter Gold Medalist, Anna Lioveria.
Show numbers include ‘Fire’ a high energy pyrotechnic spectacular with fast skating, daring lifts and the infamous ‘head banger spin’ accompanied with fire breathing skaters! Other scenes see performers gracefully fly above the ice suspended from silk accompanied by elegant duets taking place on the ice below.
Hot Ice recently scooped “Best Show” at the Big E awards in Las Vegas, a glitzy ceremony that recognises all that’s great in the world of big productions. The show was acknowledged for the best in ice-skating with stylish costumes, unbelievable feathers and glittering rhinestones that set the ice alight with sparkle.
Producer and Director Amanda Thompson talking exclusively on the forthcoming production, said, “Hot Ice really is a must see show. The feedback we get each season is that how surprised people are at the standard of the show and how they can’t wait to come back and see it again’.
Hot Ice follows in the long running tradition of spectacular shows in Blackpool. The Pleasure Beach Arena has been home to regular ice shows since 1937, making it home to the longest running ice shows in the world!

£10 if already purchased an Unlimited Ride Wristband or a Pleasure Beach Pass. Alternatively, Adults seats are £20. Child or Senior seats are £18. Family of four is £68. Friday evening performances are discounted to just £18 per ticket.
